To add to the list of changes for the 2012 season, the Renegades will be hiring their own reffing crew for the upcoming season.
We are looking for qualified candidates with previous experience and preferably with some kind of certification. Specifically, we are looking to bring in 2 certified refs and 2 less experienced refs that can be trained. We will be using 4 referees during games with a 5th alternate in case of emergencies or availability issues. Refs will need to provide their own equipment.
For regular season games and full length preseason and post season games, refs will make between $40-$50 for a total of around 3 hours worth of work and will be paid in cash after every game. Regular season games start in late May and run through July. Post season games would run into August and September. All home games will be scheduled on Saturday afternoons.
