Equipment
For the 2012 season, ALL players will need to be able to purchase their own helmets, shoulder pads, leg pads, cleats and any other additional equipment.
Helmets will be painted by the team and cleats, gloves and any other additional visable equipment needs to comply with our team colors (blue, black, silver/white). Special consideration will be given to those wearing different colors to honor various charities or noble causes.
Helmets can be purchased at your local sporting goods stores such as Burghardt Sporting Goods or you can purchase them online from many different suppliers. For new helmets, players should check out www.footballamerica.com or www.sportsdepot.com. For used helmets, players should visit their local Play It Again stores or visit www.footballamericana.com
All interested players should realize that used equipment can total as much as $200-$400 and new equipment can cost $300-$1,000 depending on what brands and models you purchase.
